Spézet has maintained, all along its history, the image of a rebel town, where identity and voluptuousness are often bedfellows. In the 70's, the "foyer culturel breton" of Menez Kamm, was a place of rendezvous for many students from Brest and Rennes Universities, for artists, and for militants in the cause of Brittany.
